Carnatique is a maison – not a company. It practices la méthode, an editorial tradition of personal colour analysis dating to the early twentieth century. The maison's voice is institutional: the dossier issued to a client today is in conversation with dossiers issued in 1953, in 1978, in 2014.
Carnatique operates online. La méthode is a digital practice; the studio session is in development. Both forms are governed by the same principle: that colour is not chosen but recognised.
