Deep Winter.

Une saison absolue – celle de la lune sur la neige, du smoking, et des saphirs.

Where black is a beginning.

The complete palette – colour names, exact references, and personal harmonies – is included in your dossier.

Deep Winter is the season of absolute coolness at maximum depth – colouring of the moonlit night, of polished onyx, of the sapphire at the centre of a vault. The palette runs across the cool spectrum at the deepest values, where every colour holds vivid coolness without warming. The maison observes that Deep Winters are sometimes counseled toward Deep Autumn's warmth or True Winter's lighter cool register and lose the precise depth that defines them. The signature of Deep Winter is high contrast at gem-clarity; the face wearing this palette commands attention – features sharpen, eyes deepen, the whole reads as decisive. Warm earth tones drain the face entirely; muted colours look weak against the natural intensity; soft pastels disappear; golden warmth registers as a foreign element. The palette serves as instruction in cool authority – Deep Winter's elegance lives at the intersection of depth and clarity, where black is not an absence but a beginning.

Note de transition.

As hair silvers, Deep Winter's palette achieves its native expression. The cool depth of the palette and the cool depth of silver belong to each other completely. Many Deep Winters find that their original colouring was always pointing toward this final register – silver hair simply reveals what was true. The full palette remains active; the deepest accents (noir vrai, charbon, marine) become foundational, while the cool brights (cramoisi pur, saphir profond) hold their accent role.
