True Summer.

Une saison composée – celle des rivières calmes, du saphir doux, et des roses bleutés.

Composed at every value.

The complete palette – colour names, exact references, and personal harmonies – is included in your dossier.

True Summer is the season of cool composition at medium value – the river stone, the dust on the dried lavender, the calm sky before sunset. The palette runs across the cool spectrum at moderate chroma and moderate value, never vivid, never washed out, but composed throughout. The maison observes that True Summers often confuse themselves with Soft Summers and reach for too much muting, missing the chroma their colouring will hold; the distinction sits at chroma rather than hue. The signature of True Summer is composure – colours that hold their position without performing, integrated rather than displayed. The face wearing this palette appears settled, the features in conversation rather than competition, the whole register quietly assured. Warm tones drain the face; high saturation overwhelms; pure stark contrast (true black, optic white) reads as a shock against the natural mid-register. The palette serves as instruction in calibrated cool – neither stark nor washed, neither loud nor lost.

Note de transition.

As hair silvers, True Summer's palette gains depth without losing character. Silver hair amplifies the cool register the palette is built on; the result reads as more refined rather than altered. The deeper neutrals (bleu marine, prune, taupe froid) become more central, while the dusty pinks and lavenders shift to accent roles. True Summer is among the seasons where silver hair feels like the palette's natural completion.
